I have a few questions concerning documentation and cpt coding of neonatal care.

I know what needs to be documented for critical care, in general, but is there any additional documentation required when the patient is a neonate?

Are there documentation requirements for drug addicted newborns?

Are any of you aware of billable services for drug addicted newborns that I should be looking for in documentation as a missed charge?

Many thanks for any feedback!

Here's something that might help with regards to the documentation aspect of the question.
