Mini Mental Examination of Deaf person

Postby Shoshana » Thu Oct 18, 2018 3:27 pm

Would you give credit for speech in the '97 psychiatric examination if the patient is deaf and using sign language with an interpreter? My physician says he should get credit in the examination as it is not his fault she doesn't speak.
