If I am auditing holter monitor services in a physician office, should the holter monitor be billed on the date it is placed or on the date the physician interpreted the results? My MAC is FCSO, but I think this may be universal.

I thought it was when it was read, but can someone give me a link to that in writing?

We bill enrollment date as the date of service for all payers except for Medicare it is the provider reviewed/signed date for the date of service. That is for my location.
