Good Morning All,
A provider in our practice is wanting to use the new code virtual check-in brief communication technology-based service code G2012 for discussing the results of a CT scan with the patient over the phone. Does anyone know if this is the appropriate use for this code? From what I gather from the final rule it looks to me like this service is used to determine whether an office visit or other service is needed. We're not sure discussing tests results would fall under this. If anyone has any insight that would be great!
